The world has been rocked by COVID-19, as adults we try to adjust to the changing situations that the virus has brought on us and can often forget that children are less likely to adapt like us. In the UK we were told that children who are not ones of key workers or who were vulnerable to stay home from the end of March till further notice. Millions of children have had to adapt to new styles of learning, not being able to spend time with their friends whilst trying to understand what is going on in the world around them. This project follows my brother throughout the course of the lockdown as he goes through it. He struggles at times to communicate how he is feeling so asked him to create paintings based on his feelings at the time of having the photo taken. Images are placed in chronological order from day one of lockdown to the day we were allowed to see one other person in public.
